Visit some of the West's most scenic locations while learning the art of photography. Our workshops are for film and digital photographers at all skill levels, and provide unique photographic experiences throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah and other Western states. Our photographers have been selected for their professional abilities, teaching skills and extensive knowledge of photography. Most have been published repeatedly in Arizona Highways, helping it become one of the world's premier magazines. Our photographers teach techniques that will enrich your photography and will "get you to the right place at the right time" for the best possible photograph.
The workshops generally have between 8-15 participants. Our small group sizes allow you to enjoy camaraderie and friendship while sharing both education and adventure, and many life-long friendships have been formed on our trips.
Friends' workshops are a fantastic value because, when logistically possible, we provide: • Transportation from the workshop origin • Lodging throughout the workshop • In-route snacks and some meals • Entrance, permit, model and tour fees • A knowledgeable volunteer escort to coordinate the details so you can relax and enjoy yourself
