First Light Photography Workshop Tours

First Light Photography Workshop Tours

I'm a freelance photographer/writer who devotes my photography to the beauty of the United States. As a leader of workshops since 1994, I like to help people explore new areas and return home with a memorable experience.

With 130,000+ stock photo slides, my work has appeared in over 50 publications and books as well as a National Geographic television show. I was a winner of the national RoseWater Network Photographer of the Year award. I have led seminars and workshops since 1994 and presented programs around the country as part of the Nature First Photography Seminars sponsored by Nature Photographer magazine, of which I am an assistant editor.

As a professional photographer since 1982, I emphasize a unique eye in capturing images of our world and try to pass this on to those who travel with me. On my trips you'll see some of the most beautiful areas on earth. Some trips feature wonderful scenery, some wildlife and others historical sites.

Photography is the primary emphasis, but non-photographers will find the trips just as enjoyable.
