Problem-Solving Photo Expeditions into the Wild North Shore of Lake Superior
A Landscape Impact Photo Expedition can help you break through your current limits and move your photographic skills to the next level. You’ll experience gorgeous landscape sites in a supportive learning environment. Groups are limited to eight participants.
Problem-Solving With Woods and Water May 24-25, 2008 Our Spring workshop takes participants through Northern Minnesota’s woods and lakeshores. There are opportunities to try new photographic skills in a variety of locations and landscapes in a collegial setting. Depending on group preferences and weather conditions, locations include: Banning State Park ruins, Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, Temperance River, Shovel Point, Pallisade Head, Cascade River, and Sugarloaf Cove.
Water, Water, Water-Falls and North Shore Photo Expedition September 5-7, 2008 For the photographer who can't get enough water! We'll chase the light up Lake Superior’s North Shore, stopping at every photogenic waterfall until we hit the Canadian border (for the highest falls along the shore), and we'll explore the moods of the Great Lake. The beauty of water in motion provides plentiful opportunities to develop compositional and emotional skills.
Your Instructor Workshop leader Chris Sandberg has been teaching adult learners for over 18 years and has been immersed in digital landscape photography for the last five years. These workshops will let you try out new techniques in beautiful outdoor environments.
