TOUCHING THE DIVINE:
A Spiritual Approach To Photography
An 8 Week On-Line e-Course

with Douglas Beasley
March 10 – May 5, 2024

This 8 week e-course explores the intersection of spiritual expression and our photography and can be participated in on your own timetable. Blending both a spiritual and practical approach to not just making better photographs but becoming a better, more insightful photographer.

Help find ways to integrate your spiritual practice (or even develop one) with your creative life. If you’ve attended one of Doug’s Zen & the Art of Photography or Emotional Landscape workshops and are looking to revisit or continue that experience then this is the class for you!

Any and all spiritual practices welcome. And you are even more welcome if you don’t have a spiritual practice, or have left one and not found another, or even just spiritual-curious!

PHOTOGRAPHY AS A PATH OF SPIRIT
Creek Road Homestead, Dripping Springs, TX
Assignment/Response Workshop
with Douglas Beasley
March 20 – 24, 2024

Our workshop home will be the Studio Barn at Creek Road Homestead in Dripping Springs, a beautiful and unique arts space just 45 minute from the Austin airport and surrounded by Texas Hill Country. Photo exercises and assignments will be in and around the Studio Barn and the grounds of Creek Road Homestead and on daily field trips to nearby sites.

This workshop provides a unique opportunity to revisit and renew our creative process. We will revitalize our vision by exploring relationships between our subject, the camera and ourselves. By ‘making’ rather than ‘taking’ photographs we become stronger visually by being more in touch with our inner selves and then use that awareness to deepen the connection to our chosen subjects, whether person, place, or thing.

MAGIC, SPIRIT & MYSTERY IN THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
Asheville, North Carolina
with Laurie Klein & Douglas Beasley
April 22-26, 2024

Doug and Laurie Klein have never met in person, yet they are definitely kindred spirits. Many of their students have worked with them separately and found in each a path from the profound to the ethereal. Their love for image-making, story-telling, and going deep within their craft is exceptional. As educators, they both have the experience, wisdom
and grace to enable students to go further with their own creativity and find the stories and feelings wanting or even needing to be expressed in their photographs. Now you have the opportunity to work with both Doug and Laurie in a single workshop in the beautiful landscape in and around Asheville and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Expect surprises, laughter and growth.
